Tonight’s Game

The Rangers face-off against the Buffalo Sabres tonight at Madison Square Garden (7:00 p.m.), in the second game of their back-to-back set. The Blueshirts currently rank fourth in the Atlantic Division standings, and 10th in the Eastern Conference, with a record of 29-28-8 (66 pts.). The Rangers enter tonight's contest having been defeated by the Washington Capitals, 2-0, last night at the Verizon Center, and are now 4-2-1 in their last seven contests. The Sabres enter the contest with a 34-20-9 (77 pts.) record to rank third in the Eastern Conference. Following tonight's contest, the Rangers return to action on Wednesday, Mar. 10, when they will face-off against the New Jersey Devils at the Prudential Center (7:00 p.m.), in a matchup between Atlantic Division rivals.
