Tonight’s Game

The Rangers face-off against the Phoenix Coyotes tonight at Jobing.com Arena (8:00 p.m.), to begin their three-game Western Conference road trip. The Blueshirts currently rank fourth in the Atlantic Division standings, and ninth in the Eastern Conference, with a record of 24-23-7 (55 pts.). The Rangers enter tonight's contest having been defeated by the Carolina Hurricanes, 5-1, Wednesday at Madison Square Garden. The Coyotes enter the contest with a 31-18-5 (67 pts.) record, and rank fourth in the Western Conference. Following tonight's game, the Rangers will continue their three-game Western Conference road trip with the second game of a back-to-back set, tomorrow, Jan. 31, vs. the Colorado Avalanche at the Pepsi Center (8:00 p.m.).
