The King Has a New Crown

Henrik wore his new helmet in Sundays's game again the Montreal Canadiens. The new mask art is similar to last year but taken to a whole new level in white and metallic blue and a white back, sporting the Bauer logo.

The story

This design continues in the same spirit as Henrik Lundqvist's previous masks created by his mask painter David Gunnarsson through the years. It has a white base that gives really strong contrasts to the whole, a signum for Lundqvist's mask creations.

The Rangers logos on the sides, painted with extreme detail work and 3-D effects, bring a depth beyond the normal to the whole. Everything tied together to a whole that breathes Rangers and Lundqvist to a 100%.

The so popular innovation from DAVEART with the name DAVEART Holographix FX, forms a custom made Statue Of Liberty pattern in the base tones, and adds another level of depth.

In this design the cage is used as an important part of the design, with it's white tints it efectively breaks off the color fields. And as always in Henrik's designs there's lightning all over the surface delivering an electric feeling.
