Tonight’s Game
The Rangers face-off against the Carolina Hurricanes tonight at RBC Center (8:00 p.m.), in the first game of a home-and-home set. The Blueshirts currently rank fourth in the Atlantic Division standings, and 10th in the Eastern Conference, with a record of 18-17-4 (40 pts.). The Rangers enter tonight's contest having been defeated by the Philadelphia Flyers, 6-0, yesterday at Madison Square Garden to snap their five-game point streak (4-0-1). The Hurricanes enter the contest with a 10-22-7 (27 pts.) record, and rank 15th in the Eastern Conference. Following tonight's game, the Rangers will face-off against the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday, Jan. 2, at Madison Square Garden (1:00 p.m.), to close out their home-and-home set.
